Veteran Egyptian actor Yehia El-Fakharany will be seen in Ramadan 2023 season with the radio series “Ahlam Scheherazade” (Scheherazade's Dreams).
El-Fakharany was not completely absent from his audience, as he presented the “Yama Fe El Gerab Ya Hawi” play during the years 2021 and 2022.
The cast included Carmen Suleiman, Muhammad al-Sharnoubi, Eyad Nassar, and others. It achieved massive success and wide resonance with the audience in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
“Yama Fe El Gerab Ya Hawi” is based on the masterpiece of Bayram Al-Tunisi and musician Ahmed Sedky, directed by Magdy Al-Hawary. It portrays the atmosphere of the magical and mysterious stories of “One Thousand and One Nights”.
The veteran actor participated in Ramadan 2021 drama marathon with the TV series “Naguib Zahi Zarkash”.
Meanwhile, he is teaming up with his son, director Shady El-Fakharany in an untitled TV series that will be screened in Ramadan 2024.
The series marks the fifth collaboration between the pair. They joined forces in the 2012 TV series “Al Khawaga Abdel Kader”, in the 2014 TV series “Dahsha”, and in 2018’s TV series “Wanoos “, which achieved tremendous success during its premiere time in Ramadan.
