Yasmine Sabri Talks about Her Upcoming Projects

Egyptian actress Yasmine Sabri shared Tuesday an update on her upcoming projects.

Sabri disclosed in a Q&A session on Instagram that she is working on two TV series.

The 34-year-old actress was slated to make her comeback to the small screen with the TV series “El Shader” after a 2-year hiatus.

She was first announced to star in the upcoming series in May but stepped down from her role the following month.

On the other hand, Sabri is set to star in the comedy film “Shoghl Asabat”.

Writer and actor, Ayman Wattar is set to script the film, which marks Sabri’s first lead film role in a feature.

Moreover, the actress is also slated to star opposite Ahmed Ezz in the historical film “Saqr El Mahrousa”.

The film is penned by Mahmoud Hamdan and directed by Ahmed Alaa.

It will feature several war scenes created by international combat designers.

Production is scheduled to take place next July.

Sabri was last seen in the 2020 TV series “Forsa Tanya” (Second Chance).

It also starred Ahmed Magdy, Ayten Amer, Heba Magdi, Edward, Heba Abdelghany, and others.

The series was written by Mostafa Gamal Hashem, directed by Morcous Adel, and produced by the Synergy production company.
