Abdelaziz along with her husband, actor Ahmed Elawady, made an appearance on prominent TV host, Mona El-Shazly’s program “Makom Mona El-Shazly” aired Wednesday night on “CBC” Channel.

The beloved actress opened up about the health problems she had experienced lately.

“I will talk about something; frankly, I did not expect that one day I would talk about it. I have a thing called a chocolate cyst. It is not the first time to undergo the surgery as I have done it five times since I was 16 years old," she noted.

Abdelaziz added that when she went to do the operation, she was told that it will last for two and a half hours and take two or three days to be okay.

"I went to do it and had Ahmed, my daughter, and my friend with me," she underlined.

"I did this cyst operation while there was also another operation going at the same time, I came out of the operation with terrible pain and kept on telling them that I was dying but they saw that I had to get up and walk," she noted.

Abdelaziz continued: "Everybody was upset at that time and there were many details that I cannot remember. I was taking a terrible number of painkillers but it was not working, and those around me thought that I was messing around because they know that I can handle pain."

The actress noted that she was told afterward that she had to undergo the operation after an hour, otherwise she would die.

"I had a ruptured bowel and blood poisoning; I was dying and they told me if I did not have the operation soon, I would die," she added.

The actress paid tribute to Dr. Essam Shelbaya for saving her life.

She shared: "When I was entering the operation, I felt that I would not come out, and told my older brother to take care of her Yasmin and Seif,".

Abdelaziz noted that she was in a bad health condition when she underwent the operation, adding that she went from the operation to intensive care.

"I had nasal cannula. 4 hoses from the right side and 4 from the left side, and 7 from my neck," she revealed.

“There was a time in the intensive care unit where I told them that I am not able to make it and asked them to remove the devices and medicines. I told them that I will be fine when I go to God. I will be comfortable while I am there more,” the actress stated.

Abdelaziz noted that her husband's post on social media on the day of Arafat made difference during her illness period, as her condition changed because of people's prayers for her and had improved.

The actress revealed that she lost 15 pounds and looked like a mummy.

“I was in a shock for a month after I saw my bowels outside my stomach, due to a hole in the colon and poisoning, and refused to talk to my relatives despite their attempts to improve my mental state,” she stated.

She also recalled another shocking situation with a cemetery caretaker who sent her a message and a video while that they were preparing her grave.

Abdelaziz revealed that she will not take legal action against the doctor who made a mistake while performing the operation.

The actress disclosed that while she was in Switzerland undergoing the fourth operation to put her intestines back in her stomach, she used the photo after three months of her illness and was surprised by those who porced and killed her, as well as said that she had a plastic surgery.

Abdelaziz noted that since the TV series “Elli Maloush Kbeer” she had not seen a good day, adding that she had contracted the Coronavirus twice.
