Liverpool vs Man City Draws 750 Million Viewers Worldwide

The Premier League clash between Liverpool and Manchester City captured global attention, recording an extraordinary 750 million views worldwide, underlining the fixture’s status as one of the most watched matches in world football.

According to international media reports, the high-profile encounter generated massive interest from broadcasters and football fans across the globe. 

The American network Topskills Sports revealed that the Liverpool–Manchester City match significantly outperformed other major sporting events, attracting 750 million viewers compared to 220 million for the 2026 Super Bowl.

On the pitch, Manchester City secured a dramatic 2–1 victory over Liverpool at Anfield in the 25th round of the Premier League. 

The result dealt a blow to the hosts while strengthening City’s position in the title race.

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah featured in Liverpool’s starting lineup and played the full match. 

On the other side, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola included Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush in the starting eleven. Marmoush remained on the field until the 61st minute before being substituted by Rayan Cherki.

Following the win, Manchester City sit second in the Premier League table with 50 points, six points behind leaders Arsenal. 

Liverpool, meanwhile, remain in sixth place with 39 points, as the race for European qualification continues to intensify.

The record-breaking viewership figures further highlight the Premier League’s global appeal and reinforce the Liverpool–Manchester City rivalry as one of modern football’s most compelling spectacles.
