Egyptian actress Yasmin Abdelaziz had contracted the coronavirus for the second time.
In a statement, a source close to the actress revealed that she got tested for the virus after experiencing mild symptoms following her 42nd birthday party, which was hosted five days ago.
"The result came positive." the source added.
Abdelaziz is in a stable condition and currently self-isolating at home.

In May 2021, the actress and her husband actor Ahmed Elawady had contracted the virus for the first time.
Many celebrities and public figures have tested positive for the virus recently including Rashwan Tawfek, Ali Badrakhan, Ahmed Mekky, Naglaa Badr, Ahmed Hatem, Faia Younan, Maha Al Sagheer, and Tamer Habib.
