Lebanese superstar, Yara will perform live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Thursday, December 2.
The concert comes on the sidelines of the 50th UAE National Day celebrations. The National Day, “Al Yawm Al Watani”, is celebrated annually on December 2.
The day commemorates UAE’s formal nationalization and the start of the federal unification of the emirates in 1971, when the six small Gulf kingdoms of Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Sharjah, and Umm Al-Quwain joined together to form one federation.
A seventh emirate, Ras Al Khaimah, was integrated into the union early the following year, completing the formation of the nation known today.
This occasion marks a sincere reflection of the federation’s journey rich in monumental events and achievements, building on the foundation that was first laid down by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his brothers, the fellow founding fathers.
The UAE is hosting more than 50 activities and events for more than 20 days, in celebration of the golden jubilee of the country.
Yara dropped her latest single “Baadak Hawn” on Youtube, which debuted on November 18.
It is written and composed by Tarek Abou Jawde.
