The 2019 forum will discuss new and urgent topics such as good security, climate change and artificial intelligence.

“The Food Security issue tops the Forum’s agenda…It’s an opportunity for a mutual global work to eliminate shortage of food, in addition to avoid undernutrition,” the statement read.

The forum offers dozens of discussion sessions about the fourth industrial revolution, artificial intelligence and Block Chain technology.

Moreover, the 2019 WYF agenda embraces other urgent topics such as women empowerment and their role in the society, along with arts and cinema.

Two Successful Editions in 2017, 2018

In November 2017, the first edition of the WYF was held in Sharm El Sheikh. More than 3000 young people from 113 countries took part in that event.

The main tracks tackled the following three areas: peace, development and creativity.

The forum program included six main pillars that discussed global issues and topics that concerned different youth groups around the world.

In addition, the forum witnessed a simulation of the UN Security Council through WYF-MUN.

As a response to the success of the first edition, the second WYF edition was hosted also by Sharm El Sheikh resort city from 3-6 November 2018.

The number of the participants increased to 5000 compared to the 1st edition’s data.

The WYF 2018 presented numerous opportunities for youth to participate through panels, roundtables, and workshops.

In addition, youth were given the room to apply the topics discussed in an edutainment manner through the several side-events organized during WYF 2018.
