The World Bank signed a $416 million loan agreement with TKYB Bank to help Turkish industries reduce air pollutants and emissions, according to Reuters.
The bank said in a statement that the loan will provide long-term financing to Turkish manufacturers to help the manufacturing sector adopt clean technologies and reduce emissions.
The World Bank Director said in a statement: “Reducing emissions from the industrial sector is crucial to enhancing the competitiveness of Turkish industries in the global market.”
