Within the framework of bilateral relations between Egypt and Venezuela,Karim Amin, Ambassador of Egypt met with Venezuelan Minister of Petroleum Pedro Rafael Techia to discuss areas of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of oil and natural gas.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saturday, Amin handed over to the Venezuelan Minister an invitation addressed by Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, to participate as a speaker and co-member of the Global Ministerial Policy Committee in the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition “EGYPS 2024”, Scheduled to be held in Cairo during the period from February 19-21.
On his part, the Venezuelan minister praised the increasing Egyptian capabilities in the field of oil and natural gas, and the human capabilities that Egypt possesses in this field, expressing his desire to increase areas of cooperation between the two countries in this vital field, which represents a priority for both countries.
The Minister confirmed his participation in the EGYPS 2024 exhibition, and also expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Petroleum.
The Egyptian ambassador stated that his meeting with the Minister was fruitful, and that he emphasized the political will of the two countries to increase areas of bilateral cooperation between them.
