Uzbekistan is known for its rich culture and history, and nowadays the country is shaping the tourism landscape for 2023.

Uzbekistan, along with the Central Asian region, won the title of the first tourist region during the last period, according to the "Lonely Planet" website, due to its ease of entry and travel without the need for a visa.

"The Economist" also sheds light on Uzbekistan, describing it as the most improved country in Central Asia, due to important government reforms that have accelerated over the past few years, as well as its preserved history and great food, which makes Uzbekistan a popular tourist destination.

The treasures of Uzbekistan are now more accessible than ever before. Next year will be the perfect time to visit Uzbekistan due to its new tourist visa reforms.

More recently, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has pursued ambitious reforms to turn the country into an attractive destination for travelers.

The reforms include a 30-day period of visa-free travel privileges for visitors from 65 countries, and the introduction of a simplified electronic visa system for citizens of 77 countries, including Egypt, according to 'export.go' website.

The number of foreign tourists has increased in recent years, and perhaps the most attractive thing for tourists to Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region is the preserved and sacred history that has lived for thousands of years.

From the formidable mosques and minarets of Samarkand and Bukhara to the snow-capped peaks of the Tian Shan mountain range, this area is devoid of noise and crowds.

The United Nations (UN) selects areas and monuments of cultural and historical significance for UNESCO heritage sites. For Uzbekistan, the list includes the cities of Bukhara, Samarkand, Khiva, and Shahrisabz.

In recent years, social media has highlighted Uzbekistan's most important tourist attractions, with travelers sharing their different experiences.

Uzbekistan focused in particular on the important role of social networking sites in expanding the tourism sector.

USAID has partnered with Uzbekistan to promote it as a tourist destination in the Central Asian region by inviting travel bloggers to explore and promote the country.

Famous tourist sites in Central Asia include the city of Samarkand, the Charin Gorge, the city of Karakol, and many others.

Uzbek cuisine is characterized by a variety of delicious rice dishes rich in flavour, and the Uzbek "pilaf", the national dish of Uzbekistan, is the most popular dish in the country and consists of a layer of slow-cooked rice with carrots, onions, and meat.

Food bloggers are especially taking advantage of the opportunity to visit Uzbekistan to experience the unique flavors and spices used in Uzbek dishes.
