The US has shortly launched a number of airstrikes targeting multiple locations of Iranian-backed Kataib Hezbollah in Iraq, also targeting depots for weapons and logistic equipment.

The US military jets bombed a number of five sites affiliated to the terrorist militias in Jurf Al Sakhar North of Hilla, south of Baghdad. The small Sunni town was cleared from its inhabitants and controlled by Iranian backed Shia Militias Since Oct 2014.

It is reported that all Hezbollah HQs in Iraq have been destroyed in the Saidat area in Jarf Al-Sakhar with the terrorist militia suffering more than 30 deaths and 90 injuries.

The US airstrikes come in response to yesterday's rocket attack that killed two US soldiers.

It is noteworthy that the US President Donald Trump has announced on Wednesday a 30-day travel ban on Europe, amid Coronavirus outbreak.

“In order to keep new infections from entering our shores, we will suspend all flights from Europe to the United States for the next 30 days,” Trump said in a speech to the Americans.

These nations are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

The new decision will come into force at midnight Friday.
