The U.S. welcomed on Tuesday Sudan's decision to annul the 63-year Israel boycott law.
In a statement, the U.S. Department of State hailed this move, describing it as a historic step that would create great opportunities for the people of the region.
The Sudanese ruling sovereignty council and cabinet on Monday officially voted to annul the so-called Israel boycott law as part of the normalization process between Khartoum and Jerusalem.
It is worth mentioning that, in January, Sudan has officially signed the Abraham Accords with the United Sates, agreeing to normalize relations with Israel.
