President of United Nations General Assembly María Fernanda, her family and accompanying delegation visited on Friday Giza pyramids area. Fernanda was welcomed by Director of the pyramid antiquities area Ashraf Mohieddin.
Fernanda visited the Great Pyramid of Khufu, then she and her accompanying delegation took photos in the pyramids area. She also toured Khufu's boat Museum and visited the Sphinx.

Mohieddin explained the process of discovering Khufu ship and its restoration by prominent restorer Ahmed Youssif.
Meanwhile, the President of UN General Assembly expressed her admiration for this great work saying: ”It enriched the world with a wonderful archaeological and artistic masterpiece about the greatness of the ancient Egyptian civilization”.
