UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received, on Friday, US Senator Joni Ernst, and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting, which took place at Al-Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, discussed "the relations of friendship and strategic cooperation between UAE and US at all levels and ways to move it forward in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples."
The two sides also discussed a number of issues related to regional security and joint work to consolidate stability and peace in the Middle East and the world, according to WAM news agency.
