Leading Social Media platform Twitter has listed the feminine form of Arabic language on the application's language persity list, Reuters reported on Tuesday.

Now, female users can have a better experience with the application as it will address them by the feminine grammatical form, "taa marbuta," or "Yaa," so the new form would be "Ghadride."

Previously Twitter addressed all uses with the more general masculine voice without giving any extra differentiation between male and female persons.

As Arabic is one of the common languages that carry both forms: masculine and feminine, it became a must to satisfy the ladies and giving them more freedom and power on the application by using the correct form.

“With this update, we are hoping to provide Arabic-speaking women with an option to share their unique voice and participate in an inclusive conversation, while being addressed based on their preferences. We have seen great support from the industry and have partnered with a number of organizations and inpiduals who are joining the conversation to champion this update," the National cited Carla El Maalouli, head of business marketing at Twitter Mena.
