The premiere date for Egyptian stars Yousra and Nelly Karim's comedy TV series “Rose and Layla” has been revealed.
The series is set to debut on the "Shahid VIP" streaming platform on Thursday, January 11.
“Rose and Layla” also includes Karim's husband Hisham Ashour, Tayam Amar, Arifa Abdel Rasoul, Ahmed Wafik, Marwan Younis, and more.
The series consists of 10 episodes and witnesses Karim and Ashour's first acting project.
“Rose and Layla” is written by British author and screenwriter Chris Cole and directed by British filmmaker Adrian Shergold.
It is a blend of genres that range from black comedy to action, suspense, and adventure.
The series is centered around two female investigators who are hired to stop a major bank fraud from happening.
“Rose and Layla” marks the second collaboration between Yousra and Karim after the 2014 TV series “Saraya Abdeen”.
