Watch IT's hit musical TV series “Rivo” has wrapped up production on Season 2.
Tamer Hashem, a cast member on the series and a member of the rock band Cairokee, announced Friday the news on Instagram.
The series is a Watch It streaming service original content that premiered in June 2022 and consisted of 10 episodes. It starred Rakeen Saad, Sara Abdulrahman, Sedky Sakhr, and others.
The cast also included Cairokee, which consists of lead vocalist Amir Eid, lead guitarist Sherif Hawary, drummer Tamer Hashem, keyboarder Sherif Mostafa, and bass guitarist Adam el-Alfy.
The series was written by Mohamed Nayer and directed by Yahya Ismail.
“Rivo” is centered around Maryam Hassan Fakhr El-Din, who seeks to discover what linked her father, a prominent author, with a music band called Rivo, which was famous in the nineties.
