TV Series "Mozakerat Zog" Character Posters Unveiled

A series of character posters from Egyptian actor Tarek Lotfy‘s new TV series “Mozakerat Zog” (Memoirs of a Husband) has been unveiled. 

It also stars Khaled El Sawy, Aïcha Ben Ahmed, Noha Abdeen, Edward, Samaa Ibrahem, and others.

Maryam Ahmady is directing the project from a screenplay by Mohamed Suleiman. It is based on a novel by the late great writer Ahmed Bahgat.

“Mozakerat Zog” consists of 15 episodes and is set to screen in Ramadan 2023 drama marathon on "CBC" TV channel and "Watch IT" streaming platform. Check out the rest of the character posters below.

Lotfy participated last Ramadan with the star-studded TV series “Gezira Guam”.

The star-studded casts also included Mai Ezz El-Din, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Ahmed Amin, Ryad El Kholy, Wafaa Amer, Mohamed Gomaa, Mahmoud El Bezzawy, Heba Abdel Ghany, Hagar El Sharnouby, Mayar Elghity, and others.

The series also featured a guest appearance from veteran actor Abdel Aziz Makhyoun.

It is directed by Hussein El Menbawy and produced by the Synergy production company.

“Gezira Guam” marks the second collaboration between Lotfy and Abdel Wahab after the 2021 TV series “Cairo-Kabul”.

Lotfy, born on November 20, 1965, graduated in 1989 from the Arts Academy with a bachelor's degree in Acting and Directing.

He caught the eye of late cinema director Atef El Tayeb who believed in his talent and introduced him in the 1991 film "Demaa ala AL Asfalt" (Blood on the Asfalt).

Lotfy is best known for his roles in films and TV productions such as "122" (2019), "Gabal Al Halal" (2014), "A'd Tanazoly" (2014), "Hekayet Hayat" (2013), "Ma Sabek El Asrar" (2012), "Qadyet Safia" (2010), "Bent Men Shoubra" (2004), "Al-Hakika w Al-Sarab" (2003), and "Malak Ruwhi" (2003 ).
