The official trailer for the second season of the TV series “Mawdoo Aaely” (A Family Matter), has been unveiled.
It stars Maged El Kedwany, Mohamed Shahin, Enass Kamel, Rana Raeis, Shereen Reda, Nour, and others.
Nelly Karim is set to appear as a guest star in the series.
The footage showed Ibrahim (played by El Kedwany), whose biggest problem in season 1 was to get close to his daughter (Raeis) and tell her that he was her father, struggling with an unknown disease.
Director Ahmed El Gendy helmed the series from a script he co-wrote with Mohamed Ezz and Karim Youssef.
The first season premiered in November 2021 and marked El Kedwany’s first lead role in a drama as well as his first project to be produced specifically for a streaming service.
“Mawdoo Aaely” is set to debut on the "Sahid VIP" streaming platform on December 22.
