TV Series “Ethbat Nasab” Not to Screen in Ramadan 2024

Tunisian actress Dorra's TV series "Ethbat Nasab" (Proof of Lineage) will no longer screen during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.

Dorra has opened up about the decision, saying: "The makers of the work are currently deciding on whether to screen the series in the second half of Ramadan or after the end of the holy month,".

"The decision will be per the interest of the series due to the lack of time to present a good worthy show for our audience."

“Many TV series are sometimes postponed until the next Ramadan to maintain their quality and not rush to present them as happened in some works over the past years," Dorra continued. "What is important is that the series takes its time to be presented in the best way.”

Production paused on the series for some time due to its producer being exposed to personal issues before filming resumed.

"Ethbat Nasab" cast also stars Mohsen Mohieddin, Fattouh Ahmed, Nihal Anber, Mahmoud Abdel Moghni, Nabil Eissa, Hend Ahmed Abdel Halim, Eslam Gamal, Walaa El Sherif, Sedky Sakhr, Lobna Wanas, and more.

Ahmed Abdo directs the series from a script by Gamal Ramadan and Mohamed Nayer. Storyboard Films is the studio behind the series.

While there are no details announced about the upcoming series, it features Dorra playing a veiled woman called Nawal, a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
