Production began on Egyptian stars Yasmin Abdelaziz and Ahmed Elawady's TV series "Darb Nar" (Gunfire).
It also stars Hoda Eletreby, Iman El Sayed, Badria Tolba, and others.
The series will also feature acclaimed actress Soheir El-Morshidy making her comeback to the small screen after four years of absence.
Director Mostafa Fekry is helming from a script by screenwriter Nasser Abdel Rahman.
"Darb Nar" is set to premiere in Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.
The series witnesses the third collaboration between Abdelaziz and Elawady after 2021's TV series "Elly Maloush Kbeer" and 2019’s TV series “Lakher Nafas”.
It will also be Abdelaziz's first major role after suffering last year from a near-fatal health scare.
Abdelaziz, born on January 16, 1980, is an Egyptian actress and former model.
She enrolled in the Modern Academy in Maadi and made her debut at the age of 13 in commercials, which paved the road to her true calling, acting.
Thereafter, Abdelaziz was nominated for roles in cinematic and television productions.
She made her acting debut in the 1998 TV series “Kot We Far”.
