Egyptian actor Mohamed Farag began filming his new TV series "Batn Al Hout"
Actress Passant Shawky, the actor's spouse, announced Saturday the news on Instagram alongside sharing a photo from behind the scenes.
The photo featured Farag and his co-star Bassem Samra.
The cast also includes Samah Anwar, Asma Abulyazeid, and others.
The series consists of 15 episodes and is written and directed by Ahmed Fawzy.
"Batn Al Hout" is set to screen in the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.

Farag participated last Ramadan with the hit TV series “Al Aedoon”.
It also starred Amir Karara, Amina Khalil, Mahmoud Abdel Moghni, Mohamed Farrag, Jihane Khalil, Eslam Gamal, Mohamed Ezz, and others.
The series was written by Hala Khalil and directed by Amr Arafa.
The plot revolved around Egyptian intelligence confronting ISIS as well as highlights the roles of intelligence workers, including officers, communication experts, and secret agents, in protecting the homeland and eliminating terrorism.
Farag can be seen in the TV adaptation of the late novelist Dr. Ahmed Khaled Tawfik's novel “Room 207“.
