TV Series "Azmat Montasaf Al Omr" Premiere Date Unveiled

The premiere date for Egyptian stars Reham Abdel Ghafour and Karim Fahmy's new TV series “Azmat Montasaf Al Omr” has been unveiled.

The series is slated to debut on the "Shahid VIP" streaming platform on Thursday, December 26.  

It also stars Rana Raies, Rakeen Saad, Hend Abdelhalim, and others. 

“Azmat Montasaf Al Omr” consists of 15 episodes, scripted by Ahmed Adorn, and directed by Karim El-Adl.

Abdel Ghafour was seen recently in the TV adaptation of the late novelist Dr. Ahmed Khaled Tawfik's novel “Room 207“.

The series, scripted by Tamer Ibrahim, consisted of 10 episodes with each starring a new guest appearance, which includes Mourad Makram, Mariam El Khosht, Youssef Othman, Ahmed Magdy, Maha Abou Ouf, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, and Ingi Abou Zeid.

The novel, which takes place in 1968, revolved around hotel room number 207, which the owner declines to close despite its strange occurrences.

Many enter the room but a few survive physically, those who do escape the room carry unforgettable and horrible memories.

Gamal Al Sawaf took it upon himself to resolve the mysteries of the room.

Abdel Ghafour, born on September 6, 1978, is the daughter of famous Egyptian actor Ashraf Abdel Ghafour.

The actress played the leading female role with Muhammad Heneidy and Ashraf Abdul Baky in the film “Saaheb Sahbo – Best friends”.

She became very popular for her delicateness and distinctiveness, which was noticed in her TV and cinema roles.

Abdel Ghafour participated in many TV series like “Al-aaela wal-naas" (Family and people), “Hadeeth al-sabaah wal-massaa" (Day and night talk) and “Zizinia" (a neighborhood in Alexandria).

In cinema, she participated in “Mallaaky Eskendereyya" (Privé Alexandria), "Kaan yowm hobbak" (The day of your love), “Gaay fel-sareea" (I’m coming!) and “Bel-Araby Cinderella" (Cinderella in Arabic).

Abdel Ghafour also performed in the play “Hamlet” and co-worked with Yahia al-Fakharaany in “Al-malek Lear" (King Lear).
