The first look at Egyptian stars Asmaa Galal and Hesham Maged's upcoming TV series "Ashghal Shaqqa" has been released.
The cast also includes Enaam Salosa, Sherine, Salwa Mohamed Aly, Noha Abdeen, Entesar, Eman El-Sayed, and more.
Khaled Diab is directing the series from a script he co-wrote with Sherine Diab.
The series is a comedy genre consisting of 15 episodes and marks the first collaboration between the pair as well as witness Galal's first lead role in a drama.
It follows a forensic doctor (Maged) who is living an unhappy life with his TV presenter wife Yasmine (Galal), until they face a life-alternating situation.
"Ashghal Shaqqa" is set to screen on the "Shahid VIP" streaming platform during the holy month of Ramadan.

Maged, born on April 26, 1980, graduated from Cairo University.
During university, he created the Tamr Hendi production company with his friends which produced films that ridiculed famous Egyptian films.
They created film “Men who do not know the impossible”, a project that attracted the attention of Mohamed Hefzy, who at the time was trying his hand at production.
Hefzy produced their first TV series “Afeesh wa Tashbeeh” that tackled Egyptian classics in a cynical way in each episode.
He also produced the trio's 2008 film "Waraqat Shifra" which was a big hit at the box office.
Maged starred and scripted the film which familiarized his face to audience. He won the award of the “Best New Faces” Award for the year, in participation with his mates Ahmed Sabry and Chico.
