A new trailer for Egyptian actress Aya Samaha's TV series “Ala Bab Al-Omara” has been revealed.

The cast also includes Azza Lebeeb, Ahmed Bedier, Hatem Salah, Mohamed Mahmoud, Mohamed Radwan, Reham El Shanawany, Mohamed Abdel Azim, and others.

The series is a social-comedy genre hailing from director Khairy Salem and marks Samaha's first lead role in a drama.

“Ala Bab Al-Omara” is set to debut on the "Watch It" digital streaming on October 4.

Samaha was last seen in the family comedy TV series "Kamal Al Adeed", starring Dina El Sherbiny.

It also starred Esaad Younis, Sherif Salama, Ahmed Kamal, Ahmed Gamal Saeed, Gihan El Shamashergy, Amr Gamal, and others.

Khaled Al-Halafawi directed the series from a screenplay by Yousry Taher and Rana Abu Al-Rish.

"Kamal Al Adeed" consisted of 15 episodes and was screened during the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.

In April, the series was renewed for season two.

Samaha, born on March 31, 1992, started her acting career with the 2016 film "Hepta: The Last Lecture". However, she received more onscreen time in the Egyptian mystery drama TV series "Grand Hotel" in 2016, where she appeared in all 30 episodes.

In 2020, she starred in Netfix's series "Paranormal", which was based on the supernatural book series Ma Waraa Al Tabiaa written by Ahmed Khaled Tawfik.

Her TV credits also include "Malika", "Rageen Ya Hawa", "Seeb Wana Aseeb", and "El Soffara".
