Turkey Restricts Export of 54 Products to Israel

The Turkish Ministry of Commerce announced, on Tuesday, the restriction of the export of 54 products to Israel as of April 9, explaining that the restrictions on exports will remain in effect until Tel Aviv declares an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and allows the provision of sufficient and continuous aid to the Palestinians. 

The statement added that the decision to restrict exports to Israel includes 54 products, including aviation fuel, construction iron, flat steel, marble and ceramics.

The statement confirmed that Turkey has not sold Israel any product that could be used for military purposes for a long time.

He pointed out that the number of Palestinians killed as a result of the indiscriminate Israeli war since October 7 exceeded 33,000.

He stressed that the Palestinian people who are trying to cling to life in the Gaza Strip suffer from hunger and poverty, and are denied access to the most basic foodstuffs, aid and medical supplies by the Israeli occupation.
