Former US President Donald Trump has vowed to crack down on "transgender madness", warning that "devilish forces" are trying to bring down the United States of America (USA).
At his first campaign rally in Waco, Texas, Trump renewed his pledge he made last month to rescind President Joe Biden's policies on gender-affirming care for transgender children, stressing that he would "keep men out of women's sports" if he is re-elected president.
Trump also spoke of "diabolical forces" trying to demolish the country, warning that the country is in danger of falling into a "lawless abyss" unless he is voted back into the White House.
He added, "Either the deep state destroys America, or we destroy the deep state as we are at a very pivotal stage in our country."
The former president said he would also support and "fight for parents' rights, including uniform choice of schools."
