US President Donald Trump is set to undergo a routine medical examination at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center near Washington on Tuesday, marking his third health check in the past 13 months.
The White House said the visit is part of Trump’s regular preventive healthcare programme and will include standard medical and dental evaluations.
Last October, physician Sean Barbabella said Trump’s cardiovascular health resembled that of a 65-year-old, despite the president being 79.
Although US presidents are not legally required to release health information, medical updates have traditionally been made public during their time in office.
