U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Sunday that the United States (U.S.) is proposing a "very fair and reasonable" deal to Iran, expressing his hope that the Iranian side would accept the American offer.
In a post on "Truth Social," Trump added: "If they don't, America will destroy every power plant and every bridge in Iran."
Trump also revealed that U.S. representatives are headed to Islamabad and will arrive Monday evening to conduct negotiations.
The U.S. President noted: "Iran decided to open fire yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz, in blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement! Several shots targeted a French ship and a British cargo ship. That wasn't a proper act, was it?"
Moreover, U.S. President explained that Iran is losing $500 million every day due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
He also emphasized that the United States is losing nothing, as many ships are now heading to the U.S.—specifically to Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska—to load cargo, ironically "thanks to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard."
