Trudeau to Participate in US Virtual Climate Summit

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Friday that he will participate in the US virtual climate summit on 22,23 April.

The summit will see the participation of several world leaders to discuss issues related to the latest environmental issues, reducing emissions, encouraging eco-friendly projects, examine the ways to cope with the ongoing climate change, searching the ways of adopting more economic growth.

In a tweet, he said: "Climate change is one of the greatest threats we face as a world, but it also presents an enormous economic opportunity."

"I commend President Biden for convening this Summit and look forward to sharing how Canada has been working to fight climate change, protect our environment, and grow our economy. By continuing to work together, we will create new jobs and build a cleaner and more resilient future for all our people," he added.

Trudeau will review Canada's efforts in competing against pollution and envionment-related issues such as create more jobs, enhancing the cleanness of air and water, and improving the lives of middle-class families.

Adopted by US President Joe Biden, 40 world leaders were invited to join the summit.
