On Tuesday, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy participated in the opening of the 43rd WTM London. The event is taking place between November 5 and 7.
Fathy asserted the importance of Egypt's participation in the event as it is one of the top tourism markets worldwide. He also highlighted that UK is one of the most important tourism markets for Egypt.
Furthermore, he hailed the presence of Egypt in major tourism events to boost and improve tourism in Egypt.
It is expected that Fathy will have major and senior meetings with a number of Arab, and European tourism officials, in addition to British trip organizers, and journalists.
Egypt is represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, and its pavilion includes 80 participating: 38 tourism companies, 38 hotels, and 2 air travel companies.
