On Tuesday,  Misdemeanour Court in El-Abaseya district in Cairo, announced renewing the imprisonment of TikTok trending stars: Haneen Hossam, and Mawada El-Adham for another 45 days, in the light of the investigations after accusing them of human trafficking.

The main reason for accusing them of human trafficking are using girls to have relationships and dates with men for earning money.

Earlier, Hossan and Al-Adham were sent to prison for 15 days pending investigations.

On the other hand, the Economic Appeals Court declared Hossam as innocent, and all the accusations of calling for prostitution were dropped.

Also, it dropped the sentence of imprisoning El Adham. However, it approved a fine of  300,000 LE  for each. Earlier, both names stirred a matter of controversy on social media as many of the Egyptians called for trying them, while others supported them.

Both used to upload various entertaining videos on the TikTok application which were later described as improper visual material.
