George Clooney and Julia Roberts‘ romantic comedy movie “Ticket to Paradise” has halted filming in Australia due to a serious Coronavirus outbreak in Queensland state.

In a press statement , sources close to the movie disclosed that Clooney and Roberts have flown back to the United States following the production pause.

“Ticket to Paradise”  will be shut down for three months. It began production last year in multiple locations in Queensland and had been only two weeks from completion.

The movie, which also stars Billie Lourd, features Roberts and Clooney as a porced couple who come together to stop their lovestruck daughter from making the mistake they once made and learn along the way a surprise about second chances.

“Ticket to Paradise” is directed by Ol Parker, written by Parker and Daniel Pipski, and produced by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of Working Title.

The movie arrives from Universal and reunites the stars for the first time in 10 years. The duo’s last on-screen appearance was in the 2011 movie “Money Monster”.
