On Monday, Paramount moved up the theatrical release date for the action rom-com movie “The Lost City” from April 15 to March 25, 2022.

The movie was initially titled "The Lost City of D" and was previously set to open against "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore", the third installment in the Warner Bros. Fantastic Beasts franchise.

“The Lost City” stars Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, Patti Harrison, Oscar Nunez, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, as well as Brad Pitt in a cameo role.

The movie follows a successful romance author (Bullock), who is kidnapped by a villainous treasure hunter and forced to team up with her cover model (Tatum), as they are swept into a stranger than fiction adventure in the jungles.

It is written by Dana Fox and directed by Adam and Aaron Nee.

Production for the movie was wrapped back in August.
