"The Batman" production has been hit with yet another setback after a stuntman tested positive for Coronavirus.

In a press statement on Saturday, sources stated that the stuntman, who is part of a bubble with nine other crew members, may not return to set until Christmas after they all quarantine for 14 days.

The sources added that the main cast, including Robert Pattinson, who plays the Caped Crusader, and the film's crew, are unaffected by the positive test.

"The Batman" has already faced heavy delays after production in March was suspended for six months in the wake of the pandemic.

Production resumed in September but had been delayed yet again when Pattinson reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.

DC Universe on Twitter:

The film, focuses on the second year of Wayne’s tenure as the Dark Knight, is set to be released in March 2022.

"The Batman” also stars Paul Dano as the Riddler, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin. Andy Serkis plays Batman/Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler, Alfred, Geoffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon while Peter Sarsgaard, John Turturro, and Jeffrey Wright round out the cast.

It is produced by DC Films and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film is directed by Matt Reeves, who wrote the screenplay with Peter Craig.
