Tamer Hosny Teams Up with Director Sara Wafik for Next Film

Egyptian superstar, Tamer Hosny is currently preparing for his next film.

The film is scripted by Hosny and reunites him with director Sara Wafik, who helmed his 2021 film "Mesh Ana".

The untitled project is scheduled to start production in the coming period.

Hosny was last seen in the film “Behabek”.

It also starred Hannah El Zahed, Huda El Mufti, Hamdy El Merghany, and others.

The film marked the superstar’s directorial feature, which he also starred in and scripted.

It also marked Hosny and Hannah El Zahed’s second collaboration after the 2009 TV series “Farq Tawqit”.

“Behabek” is produced by Synergy, TH Production, and Sky Limit.

Hosny, born on August 16, 1977, began his career when renowned TV presenter Salma Al Shamaa gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Cairo Opera House.

During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab; the performance was attended by renowned producer Nasr Mahrous.

Ever since, Hosny worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry.

He made his acting debut in the 2004 film “Halet Hob”, co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others.

Hosny is known for singing “Kol Mara”, “Bent El Eh” and “Aktar Haga”, and for his roles in films such as “Omar and Salma” and “Captin Hema”.

The musician performed many shows in Egypt and other Arab countries, including Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Dubai, and Jordan.
