Production has resumed on Egyptian superstar, Tamer Hosny's upcoming film "Tag" after a slew of changes led to the shooting hitting a pause.
The film is scripted by Hosny and reunites him with director Sara Wafik, who helmed his 2021 film "Mesh Ana".
The cast also includes Dina El Sherbiny, Sandy, Amr Abdel Guelil, Hala Fakher, and others.
The upcoming film features Hosny playing twin superheroes Tag and Haroun and follows the mishaps they face.
Hosny was last seen in the blockbuster film "Bahebek".
Hosny, born on August 16, 1977, began his career when renowned TV presenter Salma Al Shamaa gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Cairo Opera House.
During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab; the performance was attended by renowned producer Nasr Mahrous.
Ever since, Hosny worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry.
He made his acting debut in the 2004 film “Halet Hob”, co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others.
Hosny is known for singing “Kol Mara”, “Bent El Eh” and “Aktar Haga”, and for his roles in films such as “Omar and Salma” and “Captin Hema”.
The musician performed many shows in Egypt and other Arab countries, including Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Dubai, and Jordan.
