Supply Ministry Pumps 120 Tonnes of Sudanese Livestock Daily ahead of Eid Al-Adha

Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply received a report from the Egyptian Company for Meat and Poultry on the daily pumping of fresh Sudanese livestock and frozen Brazilian meat on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

The report received by the Minister of Supply confirmed that the daily pumping of fresh Sudanese meat reached 120 tons per day, and nearly forty tons per day of frozen Brazilian meat.

In the report received by the Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, the Egyptian Company for Meat and Poultry indicated that these numbers are likely to increase in the event of an increase in demand from citizens during the blessed Eid al-Adha.

Major General Mahmoud Al-Saadani - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Company for Meat and Poultry, confirmed that the Egyptian quarries have about 30,000 heads of cattle ready for slaughter, and they are replaced by the Sudanese side if any of them are slaughtered, stressing that these heads are presented to the veterinary medicine before slaughter And after slaughter and before distributing it to the 1,300 consumer complexes.

The Minister of Supply also directed to reduce the price of frozen Brazilian meat from EGP 90 to EGP 85 and indicated that fresh Sudanese meat is sold in consumer complexes at EGP 115.
