Supply Minister Begins His work by Checking on Stock of Goods

Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, arrived in his office at the Ministry’s headquarters in the Administrative Capital, Thursday morning, where he will meet with leaders and begin his work tasks in opening commodity files, controlling markets, and improving services provided to citizens, in accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the Prime Minister’s assignments. The Minister follows up the strategic stock of food commodities, and checks on the stocks of all basic commodity products.

Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, had begun his work duties since yesterday, Wednesday, when he headed to the ministry after taking the oath before the President of the Republic, and began opening files with the leaders, the most important of which is the system of food commodities and subsidized bread.

Dr. Sherif Farouk stressed that the coming period will proceed in accordance with the directives of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister in maintaining a safe strategic reserve of goods, in addition to completing the projects that the Ministry began in recent years, including developing the support system, logistical areas, service centers, and wholesale and semi-wholesale markets, in addition to work To develop the human element and improve its skills to keep pace with the technological data that the world is witnessing in a way that raises the level of performance and services provided to citizens.
