Sudan got 8.4 million COVID-19 vaccine doses, according to Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok.

During a press conference, he explained that those doses will be given to the health workers and medical staff.

He added that the state is seeking to vaccinate all people against COVID-19.

However, Hamdok did not reveal any details regarding the way the country got the doses or the final date of vaccinating the medical workers.

It is worthy to mention that the country's total number of COVID-19 cases is 21.591 including 1.335 deaths.

A number of countries in the Middle East started announcing vaccinating staff of certain sectors such as Egypt, Bahrain, and UAE.
