SEE - August 14th: GUC’s ‘Special Needs Rehabilitation Center’ participated in the annual charity fair organized by ‘Diplomat Marina’ and ‘Marina Beach Resort 6.

The fair lasted for 6 days,  and the youth  displayed their products made by ceramics, crafts, copper crafts, drawing on glass, leather and wooden products, textiles, some household furniture, handicrafts from ceramics, carpets and accessories, some drawings and prints.

They participated as well in the night gatherings held on the sidelines of the fair, presenting some music pieces.

Ms. Samia Badei, founder and head of the center, stated that the products showed were made by the members themselves.

This reflects how professional they became, after the training and instruction that they received through the center’s officials, who attended relevant workshops and courses in Germany along with special experts invited from Germany to instruct them here at Cairo.

Ms. Badei pointed out that announcement made by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to make 2018 a year for those with special needs, some thing that she regarded a ‘significant motivation’ for them to deeply interact with the society in every possible way, which,  This, eventually, contributes in developing the society.
