King Felipe VI celebrated Spain's qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final alongside Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia after La Roja's 2-0 victory over France.
The Spanish Royal Household shared a behind-the-scenes video showing the royal family watching the semifinal together in Barcelona, where they remained to attend the Princess of Girona Awards instead of traveling to Texas for the match.
Wearing matching Spain national team jerseys, the family watched the game from a private lounge before erupting in celebration at the final whistle.
King Felipe embraced Queen Letizia and their daughters in an emotional group hug after Spain secured its place in the World Cup final.

"You have once again shown why you are one of the great national teams in the world. Now, with an entire country behind you, the time has come to fight for the title," the statement read.
The royal family also thanked the squad "for letting us enjoy this journey" as Spain prepares to compete for its second FIFA World Cup title.
Spain booked its place in the final thanks to goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedro Porro, defeating France 2-0 in Arlington, Texas, to reach its first World Cup final since lifting the trophy in 2010.
