South Sinai, Red Sea Governorates Receive Tourists

Egypt’s South Sinai and Red Sea governorates began to receive tourists from different countries as Egypt is resuming the tourism movement gradually.

Earlier, The Minister of Antiquities and Tourism Khaled Al-Anani said that the Ministry of Health facilitated the entry procedures into Egypt through Swab (PCR) test in the governorates of South Sinai and the Red Sea at a cost of $ 30.

Hurghada International Airport received a flight from Bulgaria, with 145 tourists on board, as part of the resumption of flights and the return of tourist traffic, after months of suspension due to the emerging Coronavirus crisis.

Mohamed Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, emphasized that the Egyptian state is always striving to revive the tourist movement coming to the Arab Republic of Egypt, open new markets and attract different segments of tourists.

He pointed out that the Ministry of Aviation is keen to provide all aspects of the required support to airlines and the tourism sector, upon the directives of the political leadership regarding supporting the aviation sector and resuming the air traffic on a regular and increasing basis, especially the tourist trips.
