Government of South Korea is going to organize a new general election by April 15 despite the complicated threats of the Coronavirus. That country was one of the most inflicted nations with the deadly virus which infected thousands of her population so far.

But the government imposed strict measurement to prevent the virus from spreading to other areas outside the plagued ones.

The government sources affirm that that measurement will be still in place over the days of the election.

Self- isolation and reduced movement on the highways and inside cities will be in effect during the period precedent the election. More preventive measurements will be declared within the two days to come.

Kim Kang-Lib, Deputy-Minister of Health and Social Care, said during a news conference held on Friday, that the government and the concerned agencies are still consulting over how to secure the right to voting by those are being under self-isolation.

He revealed that the some officials suggested that isolated people due to the Coronavirus may vote in days of April 10 and 11. But the idea was rejected at once as it included risks and troubles.

On the other hand, the government of South Korea permitted the people who were infected by the Coronavirus to vote via their personal emails. Those people applied to electronic voting until March 28.

However, there are no defined measurements to allow voting by those who are still quarantined and the newly isolated persons.

Some ten thousand people were infected with the Coronavirus up to yesterday, Thursday. Most of the confirmed cases were concentrated in Seoul, the capital city of South Korea, and its outskirts.

However, Seoul has succeeded in controlling the spread of the disease compared to other countries in the world such as China and the Untied State of America (USA).

Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, praised South Korea as the most successful country in fighting the Coronavirus.
