President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Sudan's Head of Transitional Military Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan discussed the bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries over phone, according to the presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady on Friday.
"They also addressed a number of regional issues," Rady added.
President Sisi congratulated Al-Burhan on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. Meanwhile, the Head of Transitional Military Council in Sudan congratulated the president as well.
On Thursday, President inaugurated the civilization development project “Bashayer El-Khair 3” in Alexandria.
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, as well as a number of senior state officials.
The “Bashayer Al-Khair 3” project is considered one of the most important slum development projects, implemented by the Armed forces Engineering Authority in two years and half.
The project includes 10, 624 housing units, at a total cost of EGP 3.5 billion. The housing units came equipped with furniture and all the necessary equipment.
