President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi spoke by phone with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, on Tuesday, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

Al-Sisi offered his condolences to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for the fallen victims of the treacherous attack that took place near Abu Dhabi International Airport.

“The President expressed the condemnation of the Egyptian government and people for this terrorist act by the Houthi militias, which targeted the lands of the UAE,” said Rady.

Moreover, Al-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s support and solidarity with the UAE, as well as the steps and measures it takes to defend its territories and the safety of its citizens.

He also emphasized the link between the UAE’s security and stability and Egypt’s national security, as an extension of the solid brotherly and historical relations between the two countries and peoples.
