UAE Crown Prince: Egypt is Fundamental Pillar of Regional Security, Stability

During his talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, praised Egypt's pivotal and firm role as a fundamental pillar for security and stability in the region.

The Crown Prince expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm reception of Sisi; exchanging congratulations with the Egyptian president on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing Egypt and its people continued prosperity and progress.

Moreover, he affirmed that his current visit to Egypt comes as a continuation of the course of close and distinguished relations that bind the two countries, government, and people.

"Sisi welcomed bin Zayed on Saturday; extending his congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, stressing Egyptian-UAE historical relations and ties," said Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

"The two leaders agreed to maximize the Egyptian-UAE cooperation and coordination as a basic pillar to protect Arab national security and to confront foreign interference in other countries' domestic affairs.

At the bilateral relations' level; Sisi pointed out Egypt's keenness to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation with the UAE in various fields, and intensifying the frequency of bilateral meetings to enhance the joint Arab and Islamic action in confronting various regional challenges.

The two leaders tackled a number of the most prominent files on the regional arena, as well as the Renaissance Dam.

"The talks reflected a mutual understanding between the two sides regarding ways to deal with these files," Rady asserted.
