President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received, on Saturday, a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron.
Mohamed El-Shennawy, official Presidential spokesperson stated that the call addressed the follow-up on the outcomes of the virtual summit held on September 15, 2025, at the invitation of President Macron, to discuss the latest regional developments.
At the forefront of the discussions were the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and the brutal Israeli aggression against the State of Qatar.
Moreover, Sisi expressed his appreciation for the French President’s initiative in calling for this summit, which aimed to explore ways to de-escalate tensions in the region.
