President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was briefed on efforts to provide machinery and vehicles of various uses for the benefit of the comprehensive development process in the country.
El-Sisi directed the expansion of efforts to localize the machinery and heavy equipment industry in cooperation between the various concerned parties from the public and private sectors, within the framework of the localization strategy for the production requirements industry as a strategic goal in accordance with international quality standards, according to the official presidential spokesperson.
This came during a meeting with Hisham Souefi, Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Ahmed El-Shazly, Head of the Financial Affairs Authority of the Armed Forces, and Essam El-Sheikh, Director of the Vehicles Department of the Armed Forces to review efforts to provide equipment and machinery for national development projects in the country.
