President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, witnessed the launch of the Ras Al-Hikma Development Project, in the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, in addition to a number of prominent businessmen from both sides.
During the project launch, the two presidents watched a visual presentation on the project's objectives and components, and its great economic, investment, real estate, tourism and environmental importance. They also listened to an explanation of the region's features, integrated services, and development and economic opportunities provided by the project.
The two leaders witnessed the signing of contracts by a number of Egyptian and Emirati companies to start work on the project.
The two presidents expressed their appreciation to those in charge of implementing the project, stressing its importance in strengthening economic and investment relations between both countries, as it represents a model for constructive development partnership between Egypt and the UAE.
The two presidents also witnessed the launch of a partnership by a number of international, Egyptian and Emirati companies to enhance the innovation process in the e-vehicle sector in the MENA region.
